ALEIIAF by its acronym, Latin American Association of Industrial Engineering Students and related careers, brings together young students from the branch of Industrial Engineering and similar careers to achieve an academic and cultural exchange. Its headquarters is located in the city of Lima Peru, with representation in 20 countries in Latin America. The aim of the association is to promote student exchange, knowledge, technology and culture between Latin American and Caribbean students in industrial engineering and related fields, seeking thereby to contribute to the development of our countries. ALEIIAF promotes different events in the academic area such as seminars and workshops on relevant topics of the career in every country associated. The major event organized is CLEIN, Latin American Congress of Industrial Engineers Students where students have a complete interaction on academic, technological, cultural and social themes of their countries with each other. Every year CLEIN in a different country in Latin America. Engineering known in Latin America as "Industrial Engineering" is called "Engenharia de produção" in Brazil. |
